New Pack Helps Churches to Address Domestic Abuse

1 in 4 women in the UK experience domestic abuse – including women in churches.

Christian charity Restored aims to end domestic abuse by partnering with churches and Christian organisations.

This International Women’s Day (8th March), the charity is calling on churches to do more to help address domestic abuse, so that more women can live free of abuse and the fear of abuse, and achieve their full God-given potential.

To help churches take action, Restored has developed and published a new 40-page Church Pack. It explains what domestic abuse is, what it looks like, how extensive it is, and the practical steps that churches can take to address it. This new 40-page edition also includes an expanded theological section which explores some of the issues specifically faced by Christians.

You can download a Church Pack free of charge at (the page also features endorsements from church leaders). Or get a printed copy by email your contact details to (a modest donation will be requested to cover costs of print and postage).
