An opportunity to network and hear how faith leaders around the world are working together in their communities to challenge barriers and advocate for gender justice.

The international Side by Side faith movement for gender justice will be hosting a launch event for the movement during the forthcoming 61st session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW61).

The launch will take place on Friday 17 March, 10am to 12pm, in the beautiful sanctuary of St Peter’s Church, 619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street, New York.

Speakers during the event will describe Side by Side’s journey so far, offer diverse country perspectives, and set out Side by Side’s strategies for the future. Those who are in New York for CSW61 are invited to come and see how their own work for gender justice could be supported and strengthened by standing side by side with others.
